How long have you been in business?
We opened in March of 1993, and incorporated in June 1993.
What is your primary product or service?
We repair computers (all makes and models), laptops (all makes and models), Tablets and many other technology related products. We custom build laptops and desktops. Many other services include vinyl signage, cad design, graphic design, web design, and computer training.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background before purchasing RST Computers was varied. I worked in Manufacturing, Advertising, Business Administration, Bookkeeping, Administrative and Assistant Managerial roles, Food Service, Food Brokering, and many other roles. With each role that I worked in, I expanded my education and skills. After managing three local businesses, I moved on to what seemed the only option and found a business that I loved. Computers and technology change on a daily basis and it keeps the industry very interesting.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Having been in business in the same area, with the same people, we have built a name and trust with our local community. Our advertising is still word of mouth, and after 20 years, I would not have it any other way. I respect our customers and they respect our business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have one location, and at this time we do not plan of expanding in the foreseeable future.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Although our address is Ridgewood Avenue in Holly Hill, this is really US-1. That road changes names many times depending whether you are in Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, or Daytona Beach. We are three lights south of Hwy 40 (Granada Blvd) in Ormond Beach - or about 2 1/2 miles north of Seabreeze/Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach. We are situated diagonally across the street from a shopping center with a Publix. We are on the South East side of the street at the light.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash and VISA, MC, AMEX, DISCOVER AND DEBIT. We do not accept checks.
Which areas do you service?
Eastern and Western Volusia County for businesses. Home users typically within 5 miles unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Rebecca Doremus (me) owns the company. It is privately owned S-Corporation registered with the State of Florida, Volusia County, and the City of Holly Hill. All operations are run internally.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open M, T, Th, F 9AM-6PM and Wed Noon-6PM. We are not open on weekends except by appointment and prior agreement.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
You can trust RST to be fair and to do their best to always repair the computers promptly and back up the repairs.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
